Project Environmental Engineers in the North-East of England.


Description:

Degree qualified in civil or environmental engineering with at least two years post graduation experience you will have an appreciation of a broad range of environmental issues. Ideally you will have experience of working in a construction environment, be a committed team player and possess good interpersonal skills.

You will advise on environmental issues throughout the construction process, from tender stage through to project completion and your responsibilities will include:

Developing, implementing, monitoring and ensuring compliance of company and project specific EMS
Setting and monitoring KPIs
Identifying and promoting sustainable construction processes and materials
Environmental training for line managers and employees
Ensuring project compliance with Environmental Regulators, local authority Environmental Health Officers and client representatives
Ensuring compliance with BREAM or similar requirements
